Regatta at Black Point
The regattas at Black Point are taking place every Saturday afternoon. The men from the town race their handmade boat. It takes about 2 days to build one boat but a lot time to adjust the boat. It is why they are training every single week; they need to see how their boat is doing on the water and get the best speed with any kind of wind. All of it because of the regatta of the year that takes place in August. Their dream, Win the Regatta.
We went twice at Black Point. The first time they offered me a boat, "The Glove". The second time I raced with them just for fun.
