The visit of OAHU
Not everybody did the same thing at the same time but we
pretty much visited the same places in this island.
- First of all, I have to take you to
Kailua, the place we were staying at during the week.
Situated at the north-east of the island. On the
pictures, you can see Kailua beach, the sea-view and the
tree-view took from the roof of the house.
- Now, I have to take you to The
parade. Effectively, on Saturday, the day of the wedding,
it was a national holiday on the island in memory of ?
Probably Miss Hawaii! or Miss Universe!
- Waimea valley or the All Terrain
Vehicle adventure.

Guess...Who is who?
- Hanauma Bay or the best spot to do some
snorkeling in Oahu

- One night out. At Roy's restaurant.

Around the table from the front and starting
from the left: Tiziana, Octavia, Bernt, Emmanuel, Katia, Sean,
Mara, Markus, Anirudh
- Diamond head or the "hardest hike
of the island". For those who did it, you know what
I am talking about. A hour and an half, they said. Well,
it took us 20 minutes to reach the top!!! And the picture
is the view of Waikiki beach.
- The Polynesian Cultural Center is a
place to show the diversity and spirit of the nations of
Polynesia. This center contains 7 little villages that
are a little reproduction of the 7 group of islands of
Polynesia : Fiji, Hawaii, Marquesas, New Zealand, Samoa,
Tahiti and Tonga. What did we do there? We saw the dances
and cultures of some of them, we had dinner and we
assisted at the evening show.
Me learning the Tahitien tamure / Us at dinner
/ Samoa - climbing the coconut tree.
- Pearl Harbor - 7 December 1941 - USS
Arizona Memorial.
- Glider. No comment. You have to try
it. It was the first ride for Sean and I, and it was
Great.
- Of course, I needed to show the
world famous Waikiki beach where some of us tried the
surf.
