Rome

First, Pamela, if you are watching... here is a stop for you :)

Ta Da! The Sistine Chapel! First, it is q really pooping long walk thru the Vatican Maze to get here. No joke, it is probably 2km of walking before you get to see the chapel - so wear good shoes :)

It is amazing and the colors are intense. I think one thing that surprised me is the size of the room. It is actually much smaller than I was expecting, more like an atrium. But, just as stunning as I had hoped.

Tiziana and I stopped in St. Peter's square, and here is a shot of that:

A quick lunch on the infamous #64 bus :) where I got to watch a pickpocket steal (and get caught)!! Quite a story!

We headed back to Monteporzio, and the sun was setting when I got these two pics.

Later I had a great dinner with T and a huge entourage of friends. It was great fun because I got to really see what an Italian Dinner With The Family is like. We joked and played around alot. The cabin is in the countryside, surrounded by Tiziana's father's olive trees. It doesn't get a whole lot more Italian than this!
