Monte Porzio

Well, another day of Mille Bornes, as I made my way to Tiziana and Monte Porzio. First, Siena is not on a rail line, so I had to take a bus for two hours, which goes thru Chianti country and was very, very beautiful. I took the train to Rome, which had me a little nervous, because of all of the stories I have heard about robbers, etc. Well, I got there, and there was not a beggar or robber to be found, so I changed trains and finally arrived.

Tiziana picked me up and I got a great tour of MP. From here you can see all of Rome, and then on to the sea!! It used to be the holiday area for the rich Romans, and I can see why.

We ate a great meal and then T took me on a late night tour of Rome. I have some more great photos.
