We awoke pretty late, hrm this seems to becoming a habit. Well, anyway, we awoke and ate a breakfast while walking to the Rialto shopping area. It is, by far, the best area to shop in. We didn't find anything extravagent, but it was fun looking around. We then proceeded to another museum that we cannot show you, the Accademia, which features tons and tons of Renaissance works. Man, this Jesus guy was popular. Ate a super slow lunch by the Grand Canal, and then home for a nap while Matthew climbed to the top of the clock tower.

The photo above is St Mark'c Cathedral, as seen from the square. We usually pass the sunset hours in the square here, drinking coffee and just watching people walk by.

The photos below I took from the top of the tower. Today was a little foggy as you can see. The first one is Venice looking across the top of Basilica di San Marco (St. Mark's Cathedral). The next is the Piazza San Marco which is right bang close to where we are staying. The last one along the top is the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute.
Working along the bottom from left to right we have the entrance to the Piazza San Marco with the Lion of St. Mark and St. Theodore on top of the plinths. The monastry in the middle is out on the Isola di San Giorgio Maggiore. The final picture is of Sean. He is kinda small so I circled where he is. The JPEG compression played havoc with the fancy font that I used, it says 'Sean is Here'.
