Hans' yard is a major feature of our layout. It has several special features:

The modules are designed to stack for easy transport.

It has no skyboard which means that we will be able to easily set out trains without obstructing the view and without stopping operations.

Each of the yards (and their adjacent through lines) can be controlled by a separate cab.

It has a special electrical system which allows the yard operator to take control of the tracks on the adjacent NTRAK modules and use them as an extension of the main yard (or yard throat).

Hans' yard allows for some awesome operational possibilities.
