Here's a general outline of my trip:
March Hawaii

I traveled through Malaysia by bus (ick!) and spent a week on a small island with no electricity, bathtub temperature ocean water, no running water, and a hut I shared with hungry squirrels. Then I went to Thailand by train (a bit cramped for we amazon women).
April Egypt
Italy
GreeceEgypt was amazing and magical. I had many adventures, including a safari in the desert, being alone in a pyramid, being the first American in a small village outside Giza, an armed escort to Luxor, and a trip to the Red Sea.
I met my mother for a few days in Rome, Italy. Then I went to Greece for a few relaxing weeks, and got the tan of my life.
May Italy
France
Germany
I met my friend Bart in Rome, Italy and we traveled together for three extremely well planned weeks. I saw oodles of Italy, Paris, and Koln, Germany. He's got a great outline of the trip on his site, chellis.net.
June France
SpainIn June, I explored the Rhine, dealt with a whole country of rude Germans, and returned to Venice, where they at least liked me. I also went to Carcasonne, France, and Barcelona, Spain.
The rest of my trip loosely followed this calendar.
