CAUTION: TEST AREA

I am evaluating a new compression technology from a company called LizardTech that may allow smaller file-sizes, improved viewing and better printing of these scans.

At present, you need to download and install the DjVu viewer plug-in for your browser before you will be able to see this content.  If this technology works well, I can install it on my server, eliminate the need for the plug-in, and speed up the display since the server only sends the bits that need to be displayed at any given time.

FYI: To print, I've had success setting the zoom to 200% and then selecting 'all pages' and 'current zoom' in the print dialog.

Please let me know what you think of this technology.
Did it work for you?  Did you have any problems?
Was the initial download of the image (containing all 4 pages) too long?
Did the download of the plug-in take too long, or did you run into problems installing it?

Thanks
